DESCRIPTION:EMBL-EBI is the home of the world's most comprehensive range of
freely available molecular databases and resources. Our resources help re
searchers share and analyse data and perform complex queries in many diffe
rent ways. Join us for a tour of the core data resources at EMBL-EBI.\n\nW
e will start with a general introduction and overview of EMBL-EBI and its
resources. We will be joined by representatives of [ChEMBL](https://www.e
 bi.ac.uk/chembl)\, [Ensembl](https://www.ensembl.org/index.html)\, [Meta
 boLights](https://www.ebi.ac.uk/metabolights/)\, [MGnify](https://www.ebi.
 ac.uk/metagenomics)\,  [UniProt](https://www.uniprot.org)\, [PDBe](https
 ://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbe/) and [AlphaFold database](https://alphafold.ebi.ac
.uk/): each representative will briefly present the resource. We will then
open a panel discussion\, and there will be the opportunity to ask questi
ons live.   \n \nWe will touch on the data types available\, how you can
search for data\, and the various ways of getting assistance. We will als
o discuss the role of EMBL-EBI in making data open and accessible\, and ho
w you can include EMBL-EBI data in your workflows. Finally\, we will highl
ight where you can find training to help you learn more about specific top
ics in bioinformatics and EMBL-EBI resources\, including an introduction t
 o the [training catalogue](https://www.ebi.ac.uk/training/on-demand). \n
\nPlease note that under "Access materials" you will be redirected to the
presentation slides as a PDF file. If you would like to download the prese
ntation in .pptx\, you can [click here](https://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/training
