DESCRIPTION:Wikidata is an open\, Semantic Web-compatible database that any
 one\, humans and machines alike\, can edit.  This ‘data commons’ pro
 vides structured data for Wikipedia articles and other applications. The G
 ene wiki project is using Wikidata to provide the life science community a
  central hub to structured\, public and linked biomedical knowledge.\n\nTh
 e webinar will address how this is done and how this integrates with relat
 ed projects covering research citation or general data. It will also prese
 nt the Wikibase which is the underlying infrastructure upon which Wikidata
  runs. Wikibase is available as open software\, allowing its use outside W
 ikidata.
