DESCRIPTION:A beginner-friendly introduction to programming using the Pytho
n programming language.\n\nPython is one of the most widely used and versa
tile programming languages in research\, data science and software develop
ment. This course introduces the core principles of programming through pr
actical examples and hands-on exercises\, with a focus on building confide
nce and problem-solving skills.\n\nThe course covers fundamental programmi
 ng concepts including Python syntax\, variables\, data types\, operators\,
functions and control structures. Participants are also introduced to wor
king with files\, software libraries and the basics of object-oriented pro
gramming.\n\nBy the end of the course\, participants should be able to:\n\
n* understand how programming with Python can support research and everyda
y computational tasks\n* write simple Python programs using core language
features and control structures\n* work with variables\, data types\, loop
s\, functions and conditional statements\n* understand the basics of worki
ng with files and installing Python libraries\n* have an introductory awar
eness of object-oriented programming concepts\n* confidently continue lear
ning and adapting Python code for their own projects\n\nTeaching is primar
ily hands-on\, combining short presentations with live coding demonstratio
ns and guided practical exercises throughout.\n\n\n Book this event o
