DESCRIPTION:In this webinar\, we will give an overview of how single-cell a
nd spatial genomics technologies are used to address challenges from compl
ex tissue atlases and resolve cellular wiring diagrams of tissues in healt
h and disease. Using multi-modal tissue atlassing from scRNA-seq\, Visium
and Xenium\, we demonstrate the power to discover the rules of two neurolo
gical conditions. First\, leveraging single-cell spatial transcriptomics o
f autism susceptibility genes in the developing human brain\, we discovere
d convergence of genes in thalamic circuits. Second\, we present GBM-space
\, a deeply profiled multi-modal map of glioblastoma tumour tissues across
multiple sites\, and identified novel cellular and tissue framework unify
ing glioblastoma tumour heterogeneity. This event is part of a broader we
binar series on spatial transcriptomics. For more information about the se
ries and its webinars\, please visit the following link:  “Decoding spa
tial transcriptomics through sequences\, pixels\, and bioinformatics”.
