 ches and big data technologies?\n\nThis workshop explores how to conduct f
 unctional annotation of proteins through machine learning (ML) approaches.
  Participants will gain an insight into existing public protein data resou
 rces\; and how novel approaches can be used to analyse and explore these d
 ata to gain new understanding of protein function. The workshop will intro
 duce Apache Spark and Apache Zeppelin\; technologies for fast data process
 ing and integrating analytics respectively.
