It targets early stage trainers, postdoctoral researchers, and academic staff involved in teaching.During the training, you will learn evidence-based principles of how people learn and how to apply these principles to create structured, captivating, and practical sessions. The course emphasizes fostering learner engagement, organizing content for clarity, and providing constructive feedback.Based on the ELIXIR-GOBLET Train-the-Trainer framework, the program also addresses common challenges faced in academic teaching environments and encourages peer-to-peer exchange. Although examples are drawn from bioinformatics, the concepts and strategies introduced are transferable to teaching across higher education disciplines. The course is highly interactive, and it is essential that you actively contribute to all sessions and course elements. You will need to bring a laptop.
