DESCRIPTION:The[ Australian BioCommons Leadership Share (ABLeS)](https://ww
w.biocommons.org.au/ables) supports access to\, and efficient use of\, nat
ional computational systems for big-data bioinformatics. Designed for esta
blished life sciences projects\, groups\, institutes and consortia\, ABLeS
can be used to facilitate software optimisation and scaling\, implementat
ion of optimised software for production analyses\, and creation of refere
nce data.\n\nThis webinar highlights how ABLeS is being used by life scien
ce communities across Australia to access and leverage bioinformatics at s
cale. We’ll explain the structure of the ABLeS program and how your life
science community can get involved\, as well as providing a breakdown of
the program expectations and the support available from the BioCommons and
our partners. Community members making use of ABLeS will share their pers
pective on the program\, and the research outcomes that have resulted.\n\n
_ABLeS is supported by the Australian BioCommons in partnership with Biopl
atforms Australia\, the National Computational Infrastructure\, and the Pa
 wsey Supercomputing Centre._\n\n**Speakers:**\n\nBioCommons:\n\n\n\n1. Dr

ntists\, bioinformaticians and other members of life science communities w
ho are seeking access to computational infrastructure and resources to sup
port their work.\n\n**How to join:**\n\nThis webinar is free to join but y
